Community Housing Cymru: workforce development
Over 2024/25 I partnered with Community Housing Cymru to explore how the organisation’s culture could best support its long-term ambitions.
I designed and facilitated a Culture Reset Programme to strengthen ways of working and support staff to thrive. The programme centred on building a one-team mentality where every individual and team understands the organisation’s vision, their role in achieving it, and the expectation that they work together to drive progress.
My approach included:
• Leading a deep-dive analysis of the organisation’s norms, behaviours, enablers, and blockages, through individual conversations, desk research, and group sessions
• Facilitating co-creation of modern ways of working with staff, ensuring buy-in and shared ownership
• Delivering line management workshop on leading people with clarity of expectations, feedback, and accountability
• Running all-staff training on collaborative, adaptable ways of working, including how to hold constructive conversations and work effectively across teams
Specific strands of the programme included:
• Fostering a more collaborative and proactive mindset across the staff body
• Embedding modern, flexible working practices
• Equipping and empowering line managers to lead with a high-ambition, high-challenge, high-support approach
This work was about strengthening a sustainable, people-first culture that drives both performance and wellbeing - enabling Community Housing Cymru to move forward stronger than ever.
“Hannah’s support for defining and strengthening our shared understanding of our team culture and how we work together has been invaluable: she is optimistic, practical and highly skilled, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again. Thank you for everything Hannah!”
