The Good Law Project: creating a culture of allyship
Over a 14-month period, I partnered with the Good Law Project to embed a deep culture of allyship across the organisation.
I ran monthly two-hour training sessions covering key topics such as: How to Be an Ally, Race and Racism in the UK, Becoming an Anti-Racist Organisation, A World Built for Men, Being Disabled in an Inaccessible World, and Modern-Day Slavery. Each topic was explored through the lens of intersectionality and grounded in the everyday practice of allyship.
The sessions were designed not only to educate, but to create safe, trusting spaces where colleagues could explore their own perspectives, fears, and questions openly and without judgment. This blend of learning and emotional safety built genuine trust across the team and sparked meaningful cultural change.
“It has been an amazing journey, and far more powerful than I could have possibly hoped when we started looking for someone to provide something beyond the standard tick-box anti-racism training.”
